PART 2: DEFINITIONS
God is straightforward. He doesn’t trick us. He means what He says and he is always about a culture of life and redemption.
This fallen world is a completely different story.
WORLDLY TERMINOLOGY is deceptive – It takes something evil and gives it a good-sounding name. It uses life-giving terms to represent life-taking action. It calls taking the life of your unborn baby a “legal right,” “empowerment,” “reproductive care,” “reproductive freedom,” or “healthcare”. The term “rainbow” is now used to symbolize the LGBTQ+ movement.
Reproductive freedom = legal right
Legal right = acceptable choice
Abortion = reproductive prevention (not care)
It is provided in a medical setting – therefore, it must be healthcare.
Let’s look at the true definitions of Health and Healthcare:
a. Health is freedom from physical DISEASE or pain or the general condition of the body or mind.
b. Healthcare is the maintaining or RESTORATION of the body or mindby treatment and prevention of disease.
c. Legitimate healthcare does not include taking a LIFE, regardless of the health of the patient.
Here is an important Perspective: Dr. David Russell, in his book My Father’s Heart, states it very clearly: “What type of medical care purposely kills the person toward whom it is directed? If it is a women’s health issue, who cares for the baby girls who are aborted? What kind of medical care causes depression, substance abuse, and suicide? What kind of medical care leads so often to divorce, leaving partners emotionally destitute and financially ruined?”
Pregnancy is treated like a disease, and yet a Natural human function (intercourse) leads to the reproduction of other humans. A woman may have a coexisting disease, but pregnancy is separate concern altogether. There is now an Entirely unique human being who has his or her own unique health concerns.
Ending a human life to benefit another person was never a value of our founding fathers. It has only been in recent history in some places that it has become acceptable to take life of person who is suffering. But to prevent the suffering of another person? Only in the past decade has it become acceptable to end the life of a preborn baby to prevent any perceived suffering of his or her parents or grandparents.
The term, Empowerment is also misused. The world wants to “empower” a woman to be equal to a man, meaning empowering her to not give birth. Yet, the facts remain that only woman can carry a baby and give birth. Only a woman can nurture as a mother.
Why could it be empowering her to be something less or different than the role she was born with the capability of becoming? True empowerment says, “You CAN fulfill your God-given role”
It is a Myth that Abortion Empowers Women – While abortion, often called “reproductive freedom,” may appear to empower a woman to focus on her education or career, it is telling her she can’t HANDLE the pregnancy and isn’t strong enough to care for a baby. This false empowerment is a deception from the enemy.
 Let’s talk about a Normal Medical Procedures vs Abortion to see how abortion disempowers and hurts women just from a medical standpoint. In any other medical procedure, a person gets to Meet directly with her doctor. They have opportunities to ask Questions. They Receive a list of short and long term effects and complications. The are provided with a List of situations in which to go to your nearest emergency room. They get Follow-up visits.
However, with abortion, the only time a woman normally sees the actual doctor is when she is laying on back, already prepped for the procedure. With Chemical abortions, of which nearly half of all abortions are now, the woman receives even less care from the doctor prescribing the abortion pill because she may not see the doctor at all.
Emergency room visits have skyrocketed from chemical abortions. But they are labeled “miscarriage” so there are very few records available from which to develop proper statistics on the medical emergencies from chemical abortion.
The relatively New definition of healthcare Includes taking your child’s life with no regard for the actual health of the mother or the baby growing inside her.
Even many Christians take on a worldly–view instead of a WORD-view because they don’t know the Word.
“I would never have an abortion, but I can’t tell anyone else what is right for them.” But it is either taking a life or not. It’s no different than saying, “I wouldn’t kill my two-year-old, but I can’t blame someone else for doing it.”
